the engraved cable
launched in 2018, the collection of cable bracelets for men has been enriched with a new variation, the engraved cable.
Erwan le Louër, CEO & designer of le gramme, continues to explore the world of architecture dear to the brand through these new variations of the iconic cable bracelet.
The cylindrical clasp is now available in a version engraved with straight, horizontal or oblique lines. A design which finds its inspiration in particular in the work of the French artist François Morellet where his creations, very often made of simple geometric shapes and straight lines, form minimalist, abstract and infinite structures.
It is also a nod to the modernist architectural movement which is made with this engraved cable. In the manner of Robert Mallet-Stevens, the aesthetic approach here is intended above all to be rational. This pattern made of parallel engraved lines evokes the volumes of the works of the French architect and designer, such as those of the Villa Cavrois in Croix or the Barillet workshop in Paris.
Made in France in exceptional workshops, these new 7g engraved cables in 925 silver combine aesthetic research and functionality requirements.
